Some of you have been commenting on my habit of replying to at least 95% of my flashes reviews with ":D, ;D, :), ;), 'lol', and :3" with varying punctuation, and if you really want to know the answer is fairly simple.
MOST of the time it's simply because the review is simply "I loved it!", "I hated it", or "nice" - something short and along those lines. And well, what can you say in reply to something so short? (Aside from "thank you", or "thanks for watching" - which I consider fairly gay and repetitive. At least the faces reflect my feeling about the review in question, and offer some variety.
The faces are short, positive and simple. Plus they let the writer know that I read their review. Basically, they're the perfect reply - lol.
Don't think I just mindlessly slap them in their either - if it's marked with a face I read the review.
